  • 1/2 or 2/3 loaf bread
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 diced onion
  • 4 ounce(s) (1 can) mushroom stems
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup(s) water
  • 1 dash(s) pepper
  • 3 stalks diced celery
  • 2 tablespoon(s) diced green pepper

Directions

  1. Toast bread, set aside. Saute margarine, onion, celery, green pepper for about 7 minutes. Add mushroom stems (with juice, don't drain).
  2. Cube the bread, and mix it with the vegetables and margarine mixture.
  3. Add 3 beaten eggs and the mushroom soup. If mixture isn't moist, add the water. Finish it off with a dash of pepper.
  4. If there's extra stuffing after stuffing the turkey, bake in a casserole dish at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
