Side Dishes, Thanksgiving
1/2 or 2/3 loaf bread
1 stick margarine
1 diced onion
4 Ounce(s) (1 can) mushroom stems
3 beaten eggs
1 Can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 Cup(s) water
1 Dash(s) pepper
3 stalks diced celery
2 Tablespoon(s) diced green pepper
Toast bread, set aside.
Saute margarine, onion, celery, green pepper for about 7 minutes. Add mushroom stems (with juice, don't drain).
Cube the bread, and mix it with the vegetables and margarine mixture.
Add 3 beaten eggs and the mushroom soup. If mixture isn't moist, add the water. Finish it off with a dash of pepper.
If there's extra stuffing after stuffing the turkey, bake in a casserole dish at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
